Mapping a course

With GolfPlotter you can use Google Maps to map the greens and hazards of any golf course to work with the GolfPlotter GPS app.
If you don't know the course very well, then use a course guide to help identify each hole on Gooogle Maps. The golf club website or scorecard should have one.
Go to 'Course Maps' and click on the new button. Enter the address of the course
you want to map and click
Find. Google Maps will fly to this address. Then use the
Google Map controls to locate the first hole.
Currently for each hole you can mark the front, centre and back of the green plus six hazards - bunkers, water or obstructions - on the left, centre or right.
Enter the Course name. Select 'Hole 1' and set its 'Par'. Use the map controls
to move the centre of the map to the front of the first green. Right-mouse-click on the map and then select 'Front of Green' from drop-down list
and click Mark. A marker will appear which you can drag to fine-tune its position.
Do the same for the 'Centre of Green' and 'Back of Green'.
You can also mark six hazards - left, centre and right.
Select 'Hole 2' and set its Par and repeat the process for each hole. Click
Save and you can then use this mapped course with the GolfPlotter GPS on your mobile phone.
Golf GPS+ on your mobile phone

The GolfPlotter GPS+ runs on your smart phone browser (Chrome recommended), no app installation required! Works as a traditional golf GPS with your own course maps but also allows you to record and map every shot you hit!

Load GolfPlotter.com on your mobile browser and go to 'Course Maps'. Select the course you're playing and click on the GPS button.
If prompted, allow GolfPlotter.com to use your location.
Walk to your first tee and select the correct hole number eg. 'H1'. Stand on the tee box select 'Tee' on the club selector, and press the 'Mark' button to record the tee location. Hit your tee shot and as you walk to where your ball finished use the option boxes to select the club you hit, the shot shape and height. When you get to your ball, press 'Mark' to record its location and the shot details. Hit your next shot and as you walk to your ball select the club, shape and height. When you get to your ball press 'Mark' to record you next shot. Repeat this for each shot on that hole.
Once you've completed the hole and moved to the next tee box, select the next hole number, mark the tee position and repeat the process of marking each shot as you play.

Analysing the performance of every club in your bag

Every time you upload a round GolfPlotter recalculates your average yardage for each club from the shots you've just uploaded and your previous rounds. You'll always know the real yardage and typical shape of shot you hit with every club in your bag. Calculated from real shots on real golf courses under real conditions.
Go to 'Club Stats' for a complete yardage chart for every club in your bag. For each club you can specify a minimum distance. All shots which are less than this 'Min. Distance' will be ignored in the average distance calculation. This will filter out duff shots and any other less than full shots. If you change the 'Min . Distance' value , click the 'Recalc Average Dist' button.
To analyse a club's performance in more detail go to 'Rounds'. Select the club
you want to analyse, the minimum distance filter (shots less than this distance will be ignored) and
click the Stats button. A series of charts will be displayed showing distance and shape statistics
for all the shots hit with the selected club from your last ten rounds.
If you want to analyse your shots from particular rounds then select the round
(or rounds using ctrl-click) before clicking the Stats button. If no rounds are selected
then the last ten will be used.
You'll quickly know your real game.
Help IndexTracking your scores, fairways hit and GIR stats

Enter a scorecard for each round and GolfPlotter will plot graphs over time of your scores, fairways hit, greens-in-regulation (GIR) and putts-per-green-in-regulation (PPGIR).
To enter a scorecard go to 'Rounds' select the round and click Score Card. Enter all
round data and
